erics jeep is sweet, his attention to detail is awesome, i've modeled a few cages after his.m i just don't like the way he did his front fenders is all.

Anyone have any experience with RC coils? are they junk like there joints or pretty good? just came across some for an ok deal and thinking about grabbing them to boost me up a little...

in this pic you can see where we cut the rocker out and replaced it with square stock. see the B pillar welded to the new rocker.

here's the only shot i could find at the moment of it with the doors on. in total we raised the rockers 6" from where the stock ones were at then plated with supports. they are actually more of a mini boatside but they work great.

yea i kinda figured you were talking about full boatsides, but since you still DD yours i was just thinking you'd like that option
when i build mine i've got it measured 6" above factory rocker.
if you look at the tube on the olive XJ buggy of brians he raised his up 6" above the floor and gave his boatsides roughly 37* of angle. that's about how i'm doing mine
