Sorry tom, I bought a 98 exploder rear axle today.

 

put it on your slider... it should be high enough there lol but it could fold into the door and dent the **** out of it

 

Lol I got a rainbow scratch on door from where it rolled back on me :-)

 

Anybody looking to upgrade axles in the near future? I'm going to be pulling mine in a month or so. 79 dana 44 and 9". New gears in both, new spool in the rear. Detroit in the front. Will sell the front with the steering and arms so it will be a pretty simple swap into another Xj. Let me know if you're interested. Will also sell the wheels and tires if interested.

 

I am definitely look for axles. How much you thinking with and with out wheels

Hey tristin, we did boatsides in joshs and shaved the doors so they still go on and seal for winter driving.

What are boat slides ?

 

Its where you put inflatable rafts on the sides of your rig so if you slide into a river or lake you can push a button and have them inflate to save you, your rig, and your passengers...

 

When I get home I'll post them, but if you search here its the redish maroon xj we did. Or search naxja on starboard m's build, we did em just like his.

And the windows still work as normal.
