Means, I couldn't move the bolts in either direction. The flexplate would rotate as I tried to turn the bolt(s). I checked all of them.

Gotcha. Shine a light up in there and see any cracks?

I tried that as well but it is hard to tell. The noise isn't super loud yet, so I'm thinking that the cracks if they exist are still pretty small. Is there someone or some place that will replace it without charging a ton?

I did the same turns bolt and flex plate moved so I put a socket on crank hold it and try to put some torque on the flex plate bolts then

The fact that the bolts didn't loosen up with a wrench either suggests they're still tight.

That I've never experienced. Perhaps the OP needs to get under the Jeep again.

No. It grounds to the engine dipstick tube stud. That's why ground refreshing is so critical.

Any suggestions or recommendations for getting it changed without spending a lot? I don't want to get stranded when I go hunting next month Thanks!
you should hear my run with it's cracked and/or loose flex plate. i've been driving it like that for over a year now. sounds awful but still has all the power and mileage it would normally

Excellent discernment. There are 2 ECU grounds at the engine dipstick tube stud.
