Just run a D60, narrow it, turn the knuckles and build it its that simple!

D44's can be a great front axle, D60's can be as well. All depends on driving style and tire size.

Toyota guys run 8" R&P's with 38-39's lol (smaller then a D44, with weaker housings) they don't have to much issues either. But they run duel cases and crawl really slow (for the most part )

need more info, what tire size? want bullet proof? (and for the real question lol) how much money?

also, why ditch the D30? Its locked and geared... have you broken a shaft? are they still stock shafts? if its not breaking why worry?
I want to go to a wider and stronger axle set up, with at least 37's or maybe bigger. I can give my axles I got right now to my brother, they won't go to waste

Ya it is stick wasn't this bad before all it had was a little rough idle. I'm going to go get new plugs as it wouldn't hurt and then maybe check out the tps

If you wanna run 37s or 38s with some chromo shafts, a 44 and 9" can handle fine. I beat the holy **** outta mine and never had a single problem.
