Hey guys rains starting to fall who is ready to go out this weekend? Im going somewhere just not sure where. Any ideas

 

Be careful not to get stuck in a flash flood. It's supposed to rain this weekend as well.

it rained here for about 5 minutes.. not bad but it didnt even get muddy or anything. was hopeing for a bit more then just a sprinkle.

 

Ya it better come down more its been hot need to go play.

 

We should be getting 2" of rain today. Which is as much as we get all year lol

getting ready to go meet up with a co worker that has a grand Cherokee and were gonna hit cold creek road that's just passed the Indian reservation by mt Charleston i believe. something easy from what he said

 

Sounds like wheelers pass. Could be wrong though. You guys going tonight?

 

Cold Creek is on the other side of the freeway. Long trail run to US93 but really fun at night. Especially at the "hidden forest" near the peak. Make sure you have adequate lighting if doing a night run as it will be pitch black out there.

 

I call that place past cold creek "the badlands." Nice out there when it rains.
