Looking to get a daily driver so I can 1 ton swap the xj. Did a three day trip to big bear, Cougar Buttes, and Johnson's valley. Broke quite a few things and that sealed the deal on doing the swap. I picked up a Dana 60 and a 14 bolt. Planning on running 40's.

getting a daily driver hopefully a duramax and I'm gonna build a buggy. All my buddies have samurai buggies so I'm gonna go that route. Something along these lines. This rigs on 40" stickies

Well I never sold the jeep... instead I stretched the rear back 2", and put some air shocks on it. Remounted the spare, and put a rear chase style light bar. This thing works amazing now. Had it up to 40mph through some whoops.
I did however blow up my front locker so I had to order a new one. I hate dumping money in these axles but I don't have the money to throw into the 1 tons to have themhow I want

 

Got a new daily also. It tows the jeep great👍🏻
