All of you that have a fire extinguisher, where did you guys buy from? Any special compound that you guys have?
After seeing the wire "job" from one of the previous owners to connect the fan speed control switch. I see that it has burnt some plastic, so with that I will probably be needing an extinguisher.

Looking to build a new track bar so I'd like to sell mine. It's the iron Rock offroad double shear track bar. I bought it bran new less than a year ago. No problems I'm just gonna buy a kit and build an over the axle bracket. Make me an offer. I believe I paid 200 new

I love the front lokka I have, definitely night and day difference out at rocky gap.
I went to 4wp to pick up some spacers for my trailer and the brakes were making some noise, got there and found both caliper bolts on the passenger side were gone(threads gone as well) and the rim was the only thing keeping the caliper on the rotor. Scary stuff! Limped it a short ways to my storage with the E brake and side streets only to find one of the hub bolts on the opposite side was also just about to fall out.
Don't let other people work on your ****!
Trailer is looking good with the 35s haha

Can't go wrong with a set of lockers; im running dual arb's with Yukon chromoly axles. Skid plated the control arm mounts, sleeved the Dana 30, the front should be pretty solid...
You can get a good deal on axles from Amazon....what axles did you those of you with lockers upgrade to? Factory ones are time bombs once you are locked especially with 31 or larger tires..
In the yj I broke the front and rear stock ones very soon after I installed the detroits in it.. That was years ago but the cost of axles was much cheaper than the time I spent on the trail broke. Now I have a Currie Hi 9 it shouldn't break anything...
I was out a month back in the little xj and came across young Jeeper rolling 35's and he started following me so I had some fun with it. He ended up with a snapped stock rear / open diff but then he didn't know my setup and thought I was rolling stock...so he was pushing hard... I guess he should have noticed I was full locked when my tires were in the air, I was still going where he was stopping, spinning then having to get momentum. He shock loaded his rig a few hard times and POW the sound we all hate, luckily I had an old stock set at the house and we were able to get it moving.
This week we just finished installing a set of metalcloak upper and lower control arms, metalcloak bump stops, extended brake lines, and a Currie adjustable trac bar with Johnny joint. I was going to go with the metalcloak trac bar but found a deal on the Currie.
Next is the Currie AntiRock swat bar, 4:1 transfer case and notch fenders (they build a great set)
The front should be performing extremely well with this set up... I may have to go bigger with tires maybe 30-31's next year.

I am working on getting a 93 ZJ 4.0l 4x4 on the road and I need a speedometer head,an exhaust manifold, and tires.
I have not been to junk yards in Vegas for years so I don't have a clue where to start.
Are there junk yard(s) that specialize in Cherokees and do I pull my own parts or do they? Is there a way to look online to see what vehicles and/or parts they have in stock?

I usually go to Nevada pic a part and its pull it yourself. Bring your own tools and its $1 per person to get in. Generic prices are online but i don't know of an inventory listing.
One is on boulder highway near warm spring, the other is on lamb up north. Google maps has them.
