Hi - I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee. We have pretty much replaced everything under the hood except the actual engine. We just replaced the head a few weeks ago. My problem is that when ever I shut the Jeep off pressure builds in my overflow bottle and spews coolant all over the road. The jeep does not over heat and no coolant spews until the Jeep is shut off. Any suggestions for me?

I had a speaker that was going in and out but the connections looked fine. Before I started tracing wires back looking for a break, I cleaned the contacts using a rubber pencil eraser and then contact cleaner, and the speaker started working. By looking at the contacts you would have never thought corrosion was the problem.

Someone with more experience or a link to a helpful thread will probably chime in soon. I would do a search on overheating and start reading, looking for details that match your problem.

EDIT: WOW these guys from Novak rock for the amount of information they give...
have a look:

according to their chart your TC has a 23 spline, long output, so you have to look for a post '94 cherokee with AX15 and 231, sorry no ZJ.
Wranglers maybe, i'm still looking, but if i remember correctly the bolt pattern is rotated a bit so that the TC hangs lower.

leave the sway bar on and get a pair of quick discos, i drive around with the bar always disconnected and connect it only if i have to drive 2-300 miles on the highway.

This is a problem I have read about on here over and over. Fixes range from replacing the cap on the bottle with a factory (dealer not aftermarket) cap, to replacing the whole bottle with a stainless steel version.

I have an 87 Cherokee 4dr with manual seats, and the drivers seat has a good bottom part but the back leans back, and does not adjust up to 90 degrees like the passenger seat. I took out the seats and do not see any cracks in the frame of the seat bottom or back.
Does anyone know how to fix this lean?
Also has anyone changed drivers seats with another style seat and what was involved in the process?

So it bolts to the existing floor hardware.
Also my passenger seat has a tilt handle on the right side, do you know if this will interfere with the console?

Not the tracks, just the seat frames and cushions are interchangeable. The tilt handle can be moved to the other side.
