XJ Ask the Question Thread
I have a 2001 Cherokee, I'm replacing the motor. Me and dad got it in the engine bay, & got one of the lower tranny bolts started, but the over one can't quite reach the threads, no lie it's only like a quarter of an inch it lacks, we can get one side started, but not the other at the same time, to me seems like the torque converter pilot shaft won't quite line up, what do you guys think?

you need to get the first motion shaft fully seated to the engine before attempting to bolt anything up.

And clamping is just fine. I've had my exhaust clamped for years leak free.

Nope, I just put the one off of the old motor in the transmission, the other motor came out of a 2wd Cherokee & I didn't wanna take a chance of it being the wrong converter, couldn't find anything to say it was or wasn't the same
Today I came across a couple of headlights i purchased a few years back. I believe they are "projector headlights", but i have no idea what to do with them. I do know that the light output blows (hence why i threw them in a storage unit). Is there anything i can do to improve them? and where do i attach the wires for the little blue bulb on the bottom?
Ha!....didn't realize I was responding to a 2 year old post...sheesh is it time to go home yet.
