XJ Ask the Question Thread
It could be a bargaining chip though. Take it for a bit, and check the pressure sending unit, it could be a $20.00 fix that would save you thousands...if played right. If you can't check it, it might be worth getting it to a mechanic to have the pressure checked. IDK, food for thought. HTH!!

Thanks for the answer but i really dont have the money for a new engine right now....even though i would love to have a 4.7 stroker ive barely got enough to keep gas in the thing, im running full synthetic valvoline 10W-30 with that "engine guarintee" that im sure wont take effect because my XJ has so many miles. Do you have any idea what might help prolong it until i can get money to fix it?
i need to change my input turbine speed sensor in my 2000 cherokee....where exactly is it located...and is it a do it yourself job or no...
help would be grateful like the dead

I'm sure this has been covered before but my question is, as far as the "rhino liner" type surface to be painted onto the lower exterior body of a xj, what is better: Spray or roll on?
Planning on doing the panels where the rubber trim molding was on my 96. I'm staying away from the duplicolor brand spray (used it before on plastic and it faded and peeled even with prep). But as far as how it is applied...spray or roll on? I'm leaning more towards the roll on because of the easy application (not covering and taping a whole lot of crap).0

Well I removed the molding but on the bottom panels I have a black sticker type thing on the body. The top portion (about 1 1/4'') peels off easily but the very bottom will not peel off. I do not see green paint under the bottom portion of the sticker thing but sanded it and have bare metal spots now. Will that stuff adhere to this sanded sticker or should I take it all the way to the bare metal you think??

Today I came across a couple of headlights i purchased a few years back. I believe they are "projector headlights", but i have no idea what to do with them. I do know that the light output blows (hence why i threw them in a storage unit). Is there anything i can do to improve them? and where do i attach the wires for the little blue bulb on the bottom?

the little wires can be spliced into your turn signal wires so it will blink with the turn signal
Are you serious? I've never heard of something called that. I can't even think of anything close that might be on a Cherokee.

what is that ball behind the bumper on the passenger side? connets to a vaccum line that goes to the intake manifold. building a bumper and want to discard it. just curious what it was and if i could just toss it and plug the line. thanks.
Relocate it to the engine bay. Not all that hard. You need the vac ball though.
