you can buy the gears on e-bay, but you got to find out wether the rear axle is a dana 35 or a chrysler 8.25.
Regarding the TCU, my bad, it was never integrated in the ECU on XJs, it was on ZJs (grand cherokee).
we have the old version, the 87-95..
im not sure, but i think i read something in the glove compartment..sort of a heads up form jeep.. it said that the differential had something like an LSD in it and that the differential came from DANA..

As many have said in the past

As E-mail can be taken many different ways and some including myself dont always explain themselves fully, the use of photos greatly help others when trying to help. As they say "Pictures are worth a thousand words".

Has anyone used the Jeep Cherokee & Comanche Control Arm Drop (CAD) system from Rocky Road Outfitters?

The xj that Im getting it from has a lift and Im pretty sure the guy need's his. Maybe I can measure it tho. If I can, what point do I measure it from? Tip to tip I would guess. If he has a sye then it will be differnt right? Or if he has a stick wont it be diffent?
I called the jeep recycler in sacramento and they needed a measurement if I want one from them. Sorry Im so scatter brained, Im a little over my head in this axel swap so Im trying to get all the help I can. I appretiate any words of advice.
thanks

measure from center of u joint to the center of the other ujoint , if he has a sye then forget it its a totally diff driveshaft all together , the lift wont matter unless its a monster lift , i have a 7" lift and ran a stock a driveshaft with no issues and now with the sye im running a stock front drive shaft , that one could be a little longer but i have no issues with it what so ever
