Ppl here have done it, not sure where everyone is hiding tonight. Worst case try googling it and add Cherokee forum to the search field and it will sometimes pull up the right page.

Sorry I couldn't give more info, good luck brother

As worded, the question here is, "How often should I change the oil? Can the answer be every 3000 miles?"

So, his answer was valid, and he expounded upon it by adding an alternative measure of determining a necessary oil change. Can we be done with this now?

Yes, heat will cause the resistance of the injectors to increase. Its a side effect of getting older. If there's a performance shop in your area, try a heat wrap. They make a type of tape that's perfect for that by Cool-it.

lol .. I wish you would have copied and pasted to included the original question i wrote because you got it wrong when you rewrote it... just read it again or not, I don't care anymore .. It was just a friendly correction.. I'm not going to argue about it
Because arguing on the internet is like competing in the special Olympics;
no matter who wins you still have to be retarded.

Yeah I tried the heat wrap. It helped a little but it dident fix it. Guess time for new injectors.

Out of curiosity why do you want to delete it?

Dont need it on my street mj with factory size tires. I drove a 5500lb dodge on 33 10.50s for 5 years without it. Im trying to maximize mileage/efficiency without really spending a whole lot and cutting powertrain losses is the first place i look on any of my vehicles.

I've seen them cleaned and rebuild for anywhere from $60-$90 on here. I don't know what they go for at the JY, though.
