New to me Jeep owner, 2000 Cherokee Sport 4.0. When I first apply brakes at high speeds vehicle violantly shakes really bad. If I stay on brakes as it slows it goes away. I don't notice it at slower speeds 45mph or less. Haven't removed wheels yet to look at brakes closely but through wheel appear fine and rotors don't feel groved or anything. Any ideas??? Could tires cause this?

if you're going to get new springs anyways, spend $20 more and get these. You won't be sorry - they ride better than any spring out there.

Hey Guys,
My 95 Cherokee has an issue on start up. When i turn the key of over to start it will fire up but as soon as i turn the key to the run position it shuts off instantly. No studder, just off. Ive cleaned up the grounds and i've got about 13vdc static on the battery. The wiring diagram in the Haynes maunal i have doesn't really give much break down on the "Run" circuit
4.0L Aw4 185K
Recent repairs include: new fuel pump, fuel pressure reg, cps, and full tune up. These were done over the course of the last year and the fuel pump being the most recent at 2000 miles ago.

I have a 1996 Grand Cherokee, i can attempt to start the vehicle and it will fire right up, but instantly dies. my power windows do not work but i can use my remote to unlock doors, my automatic head lights will not work but they will come on if switched to manual. and i have no dashboard lights, but interior lights do work. any ideas, i am completely stumped.

Or you may start in Neutral as the local Jeep dealer suggested to me after they completed a recall on my '87, & it would no longer start in Park.
