You can buy a new one to the tune of about $300, or you can spend an hour cleaning it

How do you guys feel about these leafs? I'm thinking about getting the ones rated at 745 lbs. Or can anybody point me in the direction of some NEW leafs? I'm trying to stage for a 2" lift. Need a new set.

if you're going to get new springs anyways, spend $20 more and get these. You won't be sorry - they ride better than any spring out there.

eww...see if it goes away after it warms up

could be coolant (prob not if it doesn't smell sweet), oil, or even tranny fluid burning.
