Not a problem. I turned down being a Mod because of the issues involved.
Glad to be of help when/if I can.

I've had my UG a couple of weeks now, really like it. I have an idiot gauge cluster so I decided the UG would give me lots of usefulness.
I currently run RPM, Engine temp, Avg MPG and Inst. MPG. I'm ready to change to showing 6 gauges and wondering which are most useful. I wish it would show Oil pressure (sigh...)

I guess a headliner replacement would fall under oem tech so i have a quick question. I have read a lot of "how to" headliner threads and apparently there is supposed to be a cardboard backing on the headliner. Well I just took the headliner out of my xj and I see no cardboard. I have a checkered material, then fiberglass?, then my actual headliner material. If anyone could tell me if this is the way it's supposed to be or how I could recover the material I have that would be great. Here are some pics to help you understand what Im talking about.

I was trying to remove the upper control arms in order to replace worn bushings. My problem is I can't get the bolts out. I have tried a 15mm box wrench and it was a little to big and slipped (would round it off if I kept trying). The 14mm is a little to small and the 9/16ths is also a little too small. What size is that suppose to be?
If I "sawzall" the darn bolts what should I replace it with?

Nooooooo 14mm and 9/16th are a tiny bit different (so says my handy dandy wall chart)

Another bolt????? I never thought of that, guess I'll put the bread ties away.....lol Just a regular grade 8 bolt I would guess.

and naw man grade 5 is fine... and a nut is not going to care about the ever so sligh difference of the 9/16 and 14mm...
if all you want to do is the rear main seal then i recommend replacing the oil pan gasket... but the oil pumps (on the renix anyway) are lik $80 frickin bucks... since this is all your doing i say replace it too... youll have to pretty much pull the motor to do it if it ever fail's in the future... me... im not... all my moneys already going everywhere else and i ran out... lol... if your motors stock then run a stock pump... its lasted this long right and still counting... why buy aftermarket... aftermarket are for motors creating more heat and near more oil flow...

when pulling the motor use the drivers side engine mount NUT on the head bolt on the back of the driver side of the motor... and you see in the pics where i put the other one... took the mount off with the nuts under the bottom side instead... makes it easy and both are plenty strong... not many good places to bolt a chain to these motors and not worry about anything...
