I'm no mechanic, but this don't look good. I noticed this changing the oil today. It looks like where the bell housing of the trans bolts up is somehow damaged. I can see right inside. I have leaks all over, but nothing ever appears to be low on fluid and I check it weekly. Should I be worried?

That little flex plate is nothing to worry about..it can be bent with a pinky finger lol! No harm in it being bent!

What trans is that! I'd check the fluid!

Fluid levels all appear to be good. I've done 1 drain n fill on the trans about a month ago. TC is good to. I check the fluid once a week and it's good. I check the oil every week too. It dumbfounds me that I always have oil spots on the ground but never seem to be low. So I shouldn't be worried about the shield then?

It's an auto. Fluid seems ok. I'll check everything again tomorrow.

Default Still brake issues

Okay i know i asked abotu this once (sorry dukie) but i still didn't get a reply about what this may be. I had the ABS pump fixed (due to the now known to me crappy bendix system) and i had an oil leak. I took it in to the shop because i can only do minor things myself. They fixed those problems but now say when they test drive it, about every other time they take it out, "the brakes just don't feel safe." What are they talking about? They said it pulls in one direction when you brake and they can not for the life of themselves figure out why. Is it something to do with the ABS still? because it doesn't sound like it. They say the vehicle kind of pulls out of control when you press the brake. Should i take this jeep out of there and take it somewhere else? The thing that makes me wonder most is they said it only does it every 2 or 3 test drives. What should i do? They told me they checked all the recalls on it.

Good freaking lord. Then I guarantee they aren't in any rush to fix it. You got put on the back burner my friend.

I can't precive how the ABS would only target pulling in one direction, not saying it's not possible though. My money would be on something stupid simple, like a front hose. (Thats if it were consistently going in the same direction.)
