I hope to god you're not talking to me. Don't laugh, i've never seen diff fluid

So anyways i guess i should open it and inspect the damage, right? It was underwater for about 30 minutes a few years ago (Got stuck in some water), i don't think AAMCO actually checked it.

It should be golden clear. Just like motor oil. And aamco are a bunch of drop outs.

Wow. Yes. A few years ago? That fluid should have been changed as soon as you got it out.

Yeah i was talking to you. You need to swap that out right now. If its been mixed for a few years you may have done some real damage

If your talking about the best while headlight setup, Norcalmr2.com is the best I've seen.

I know AAMCO is bad, i'm starting to do my own work now since i realize other people are ****ing r*****s. When we pulled it out, the reason we took it to aamco was so they would check the fluids and clean the brakes out (Since i had school and my dad had work, we didn't have the time)

So, any recommended fluids? And how do i dispose of the old.

Here is what I did on my '91. If you pull the head light switch out, there will be a heavy red wire there,12 gage I think. Do a tap on that wire and run your new branch over to your glovebox, that's where I put mine, and install a secondary PDC in the GB. From there you can set up a multi switch station that will be powered when you go to accessories or running.

Whatever 75w90 API GL-5 for the front, same for the rear for light usage. If you beat on it or do a lot of towing then 75w140 synthetic (80w140 maybe?) API GL-5 is recommended. TracLock limited slip differential calls for an additive, but most synthetic oils have this already. Running a synthetic makes sense for fluid longevity and better protection if your seals are good, but if you like to play it water at all its not worth it (diff fluid should be changed any time its submersed). I'd stick with a reputable brand name.

I hope the other end of that is fused, 12 AWG is pretty thin for any PDC and I would consider a fire hazard.
