driving home from work last night, my "check gauges" light comes-on, as I look down, my oil pressure just bottoms out.. Proper amount of oil, no leaking/dripping of any sort, engine sounds fine, runs just as smoothly as ever.. seems like everything is being properly lubricated.. could it just be a sensor?

could be, but you absolutely need to verify with a mechanical gauge, especially considering your year XJ

hey dukie, just a thought. from the day i got anya, the oil pressure guage never worked...the needle was stuck on the right side below the meter...i was thinking though, with the way the head and block were sludged up, could it just have been that the oil pressure actually was that effing high? cuz i remember a while back it started working for like a minute then went back up and stayed there...

soo my temp gauge is being goofy, sometimes when i hit a bump it seems to drop about 10 degrees or it i bang on the dash a little, thenn at times it seems to want to overheat ever since i flushed my heater core, i did put a hole in the heater core and have to use some stop leak stuff so maybe its clogging my thermostat? im all ears for opinions

could be a loose wire or a bad sensor. That's why i told you to rent the mechanical gauge for when we put it back together. We need to verify without a doubt if it's building pressure. The sending unit can be replaced at any time.
