Have a 95 XJ with the standard 4 guage cluster (giant fuel guage and speedo) Would like to swap it out with a 6 guage cluster with the tach. Is this possible without a ton of modification? Jeep is a 4.0L with an AX-15 manual. Any info woulod be appreciated.

yes it's very easy. Pull the cluster from a junkyard XJ, and also grab the oil pressure sending unit and the coolant temperature sensor from the same jeep. Swap all of these to yours and you'll have REAL guages

There's a one inch drop, and a 1.75 inch drop. Only 4.5 inch lift, so I'm assuming one inch should be fine.

True 4.5? It's Rough Country brand, but install by p.o.

Alright then, 2, 4, or 6 degrees? Will be buying from iro.

I'm sure they'll both do the same thing in different ways. But shims fix angle in the rear, but a drop makes an easier angle on the front as well, in theory.

Default starting problem

hey, ive got a 99 cherokee classic. here recently it has been getting hard to start, like its not getting fuel. it turns over then dies, have to give it gas to keep it running. and today i went to start it and it just made a clicking noise, moved the terminal on the battery around and it started. i dont know if they're related or two seperate problems. any ideas? thanks!

Yep I would say they are related, low batt voltage or loss of it will reset "idle" values in pcm causing it to not idle till it is relearned. Fix battery issues and it will b ok

Yea, just redo your terminals make sure the alt wire is right under the positive ring. I just had this issue myself. Ended up buying an optima battery and redoing the wires.

If you have never installed gears don't do it. You can screw up alot doing it wrong.

That's what I was afraid of... I can't afford for a shop to do it...
