sometimes when driving at slow speeds and having to accelerate quickly, the transmission kicks down pretty hard to the point I'm wondering if it's normal behavior. i'll try to recreate the problem, let's say at the next stop, and most of the time I can't seem to get the same behavior. does this indicate anything or it's considered normal?
also when first starting in the morning, sometimes during the first or second acceleration the first gear seems to hold on longer and seems to shift late. all goes back to normal after the first couple shifts. i topped off the fluid but it still happens sometimes. again, normal behavior or it's signs the transmission is on its way out?

So I've been chasing down the AC issue I posted about about to many pages back to try and look up from mobile. So to recap, AC blows cold, when at max setting it switches from dash vents to defrost vent only, when RPM greater than 16-1700 it changes to defrost when on normal setting and 3, or 4 on fan dial, below 1500 it will return to the normal setting on the dials. Is this indicative of a vacuum leak somewhere? Which lines do I need to be looking at?

Check all the lines. The ones that go the individual components are poop. The one that says "To heater controls" on cruiser's photo had a giant hole in it and disintegrated when I touched it.
Thanks cruiser
That's probably the line that I have a hole in since The output changes with the RPM's it would stand to reason that the vacuum draw is different at different RPM's if I'm not mistaken

Here's one for those who've done valve stem seal replacements with the head on the engine, in the Jeep.
This one....

or this one...

I'm not concerned with the difference in price, really... moreso the effectiveness of the tool.
