Normal. You can't turn on solid ground while 4PT or 4LO are engaged

It's a selectable locker. The advantage is you aren't relying on air or electric like the competition. The trade-off is you need cables run inside the cab.

no experience with that. I have a Yukon zip locker, which is pneumatic. So that doesn't apply.

I have done the np242 swap behind the ax15 and I would say I love it. And will do it again if I have the opportunity to do so.

Not really true. The front axle will be allowed to go faster around a turn still, and as long as you aren't applying throttle(for an autolocker) and don't have the selectable locker locked, all 3 diffs will differentiate normally.

My statement still stands, and it IS true. To take advantage of the FULL BENEFIT of the Selec-Trac NP242 system, it is best to have LSD in the diffs rather than open or locked. That includes auto-lockers. The torque-biasing in the transfer case is most efficient with the same torque-biasing is in place in the differentials. It's more than just about "allowing the front wheels to turn in 4wd on pavement", it's about a full 4wd system that allows efficient, full-traction in multiple surfaces.

Have some slight wobbling going on in my front end while at highway speeds. no death wobble, but enough to feel in my steering wheel and if i take a look at the tires i can see them going a little back and forth too. Suggestions for where to look first? i was thinking u joints
