It's a CONDUCTIVE grease. Has fine metal particles in it to make better contact and a grease to seal out air.

Ah. so a much better option for grounds, not so good idea for multi pin electrical connectors.

They are specially molded. Bulk hose won't make the bend. I tried. Lol

I'll be using a new OEM style filler hose, i just need to get a filler neck with an opening that matches the OEM size of the hose. I am going diesel and don't want to run a fuel cell if i don't have to.

Any reason why the tach gauge and speedometer both stimulateously would randomly stop working for few seconds then work again while driving? All other gauges work just fine.

Why not use the stock tank?

Bad connection on the rear. Pull the cluster and tweak the female end so it grips the pins better. Tach and speedo are delivered via CCD bus

i will be i kinda need a metal diesel filler neck to mate to the OEM hose. and i'll be eliminating the OEM fuel pump inside the assembly and putting a hose in it's place since the OM617 doesn't require a lift pump.

Brake light came on, topped off the reservoir which was low and brakes work great now.

Brake light on dash won't go off, e-brake is off and no sponginess in the pedal. If there's air in the system I can't feel it.

Is there a trick to turning the dash light off ?

Press the pedal real hard. You'll probably feel a click/clunk and the light should go out.

Default Need Help

Haven't used this forum much so I may be asking in the wrong area. My 97 cherokee just took a dump. The throw out bearing is screaming. I busted up my knee lately and have some difficulty with mobility. I will be installing a new clutch kit as soon as it arrives and I am asking for help with the install. I'm willing to pay for that help but don't want to take it to a shop. Hopefully someone in the Arvada Colorado will be available to help this old dog.

Depends on how small the pins are. Headlight sockets I do conductive grease on the blades & sockets then dielectric around the outside to keep the crap out.

PCM connectors? That's a good way to short things. lol

Oh yeah, I forgot about the HV diesel nozzles.

52100174AB according to 1998 and 2000 parts books. Might be able to find it online, like here http://www.moparpartsgiant.com/parts...2100174ab.html
