Did you see it leaking from the fuel rail?

Went to fire it up to drive 3 hours home and the belt was squealing more than I've ever heard. Think the AC compressor died. There was a brownish dust on the pulley part of it and on the rad hose that runs on top of it. Hopefully the shop I had it towed to can fix it tomorrow

I actually dropped it off at the dealer for them to diagnose. According to them:
It/they are leaking into the manifold. The fuel trims are excessively lean to compensate as well. They put a gauge in and saw the fuel pressure come up and stay solid when isolated in the fuel lines and when looking on the manifold side the pressure drops.

No visible leaks anywhere.

I would have just started with cleaning the injectors and replacing all the o-rings and then gone from there. The fuel rail is made of steel (or aluminum for the earlier years), so unless it's rusted, there's very little reason for it to start leaking.

Buy a universal replacement from the auto parts store or scavenge one from the junk yard.

Or ya know... ebay, amazon, auto anything.... etc

hey guys recently my xj has been getting a bad connection to battery I belive since some days i get in it and it barely lights up interior lights then when i go to start it it loses all power. My battery terminals do have some corrosion and seem to losen up after driving for a couple or days or so. It happened today again but i got it to start after a while but now my radio doesnt turn on. It is an aftermarket radio deck and was working earlier today so im not sure what could cause it to not turn on. Any ideas?

Early morning speculation, but if your terminals are corroded and loose, your alternator probably can't recharge the battery as it should

Yup. The Jeep is telling him/her it's got basic issues that need to be addressed, eh?

pieces of it may be wired but it won't be complete. For example there may be fog light pigtail coming out in the center dash but there's no wiring going from the PDC for the fuse and relay, and there's no wiring going to the headlight connection plug near the header panel.

It was very rusty, especially the quick connect. One reason I didn't want to touch it. I have the factory original injectors and everyone seems to rave about the 4 hole injectors so I figured I'd just do it all at once.
