Hey all, I was trying to search for an article I remember reading about converting the AC compressor to be a air compressor. Can any one point me in the right direction?

My radio won't turn on. I was working around the fuse panel today trying to figure something out for my aux cooling fan. When I put the pieces back together, the radio no longer turns on.
I checked the fuse, and it's fine. All other electrical systems (fans, lights, etc) work fine.
What are some issues, besides fuses, that could cause the stereo to not work?

Fuel, compression, spark, air. Granted, it's a simplified list, but each category is what is necessary for your vehicle to run. My experience has been lack of fuel is the most common culprit and tends to be my gut feeling with your jeep too (especially if your jeep turns over when you're trying to start it), though it could honestly be due to any of the above.
Pick one category and start troubleshooting. For example, with fuel... is fuel getting to my engine? (Should be a bleeder valve you can check) Can I hear my fuel pump? (Humming noise when the key is on the "run" position ) Is my fuel filter clogged? (Not sure how to check this short of replacing it, assuming your Jeep has an external fuel filter) Did I buy decent fuel from a reputable gas station? etc.
This sounds similar to when my fuel pump gave out. Don't take that as a diagnosis -- far from it. I would start by researching how to troubleshoot each of these systems. You can probably get some good info elsewhere on this forum.

Im getting ready to rewire the speakers to my aftermarket stereo in my 98 xj, atleast the front speakers in the doors and possibly the rear sound bar ones. Any tips? Are there any write ups on it?
