It's gonna be annoying, and there will be a delay in your shock dampening, which may affect your ride quality. I don't know for certain whether it would negatively impact the shocks themselves, but I don't think it would.

Replace the $8 bushings.

Sorry bros. not trying to be a wiener. I'll install BPEs when I can get my hands on some! I tried to find replacement bushings but the guy at o'reilys laughed at me and said the bushings couldn't be replaced and advanced auto didn't have any replacements

Go back to oreilys, show him this picture, then slap him in the face with your phone. Tell him a 12 year master mechanic called him retarded, then make him give you a discount.

Parts counter monkeys are as bad a lube monkeys. Both act like they know what's up, but are completely useless when it comes to working on cars.

More meant that as to get general info that might help him get more info or infer from based on more common configurations.

I has question: Is a black strip common on the bottom of the oil dip stick? Or does it mean the oil got really burnt at some point?

I've only ordered from RockAuto once, and they sent me the wrong part. I understand they have a great reputation, but I prefer to buy locally.

For what it's worth, I've got 50+ orders with Rockauto without a single screw up.

You really should consider giving them another chance.

Those shocks that are designed with the piston rod pointing downwards, can they be mounted in opposite direction, with the piston rod pointing upwards?

Are they emulsion dampers, or nitrogen charged? IFP monotube or dual tube? I think emulsions wouldn't work right if upside down since they have air space, monotube with IFP/bladder would work just fine

I'm sure some of out members could manage to do that.
