Or contact a dealer with your VIN # and see if they can get you the code or sell you a new fob.

Default 2001 Cherokee block swap to a 1994?

Will a 2001 Cherokee Sport block swap into a 1994 Sport without a lot of fan fare?

You could always put on an aftermarket alarm or remote start.
I have an alarm im going to put in when i get some time. It just needs some relays wired in to make the locks work. should be better than the 5 foot range on my old remote.

Default t case drop

this is the biggest mess ive seen so far. im trying to add a 1 inch t case drop and broke the 2 bolts off. not even sure what im going to do to get the studs out. I am on day 3 of drilling and i broke off an easy out and a drill bit inside of thehole in the bolt. even went to home depot and bought a torch. Anyone got anything helpful on pulling these studs?

I do have cam type stud pullers but dont want to break studs till i get bolts out

my suggestion would be lots and lots of pb blaster before you try again, get the bolts from every angle you can imagine twice a day for a week. then try the easy outs again, if that doesn't work my suggestion would be to drill the holes out completely and find a way to hold the nut still inside the frame rail while you tighten everything down and go up a bolt size.

FYI don't use cheap *** drill bits or easy outs either, they'll just make it more frustrating.

Okay so I installed a sub and amp, and now my lights dim in and out. So I'm wondering whats an alternator that will fit in the factory spot and have more amps? Also how would I modify my electric fan to a switch so I can turn it on when I want? I'm a noob.

If the RPMs don't drop at the specified speed it's slipping and not locking up.

im working on a 97 which recently developed a problem with the radio which led to someone (brother) hitting the radio quite hard. soon after, the speedometer stopped working and the transmission is very confused on which gear to select. the speedometer jumps around quite a lot, no real relation to speed except it will tend to be 0 when stopped and bounce less at lower speeds. transmission will downshift at speed without pressing the gas. any ideas? seems to me like it would be related to the tach wire but beyond that i dont know. if you have a clue please be detailed, this is my gf's car and i havent been around it long
