You can cut and not have it look horrible. Mines is a daily driver and for me, I like the look of cut fenders with no flares providing your municipality has no laws against it

Thank you I appreciate it. I'm working on making a weekend down there. Busy season. Have a couple of weddings, baby showers and craziness.

What's the purpose of these squares of sheetmetal in the floorpans? Just reinforcement?

They're not sheetmetal, they're reflective material meant to stop heat coming up from the transmission and exhaust. PITA to get off..

Wrong and wrong! It's a giant sticker! Aluminum foil towards the passenger, thick rubber with a nasty adhesive on the floor pan. They're for noise and heat reduction.

Go ahead... hit it with a wire brush... I dare ya

(don't)

Well the XJ electrical system is 12V, so no.

24V found only in military vehicles and maybe airplanes.

Hey to piggy back on this, one of my H4's burned out and caused some charring on my new Putco harness.. What's the proper testing to make sure current is still at the harness? Just probe cavities for 12DCV? (Still in the infancy stage of electronics!)

Just an afterthought: before it burned out, the headlights would switch to high beam ok, but then would keep the highs on when switched to low. I had to turn lights off then back on to shut off highs. Blinkers still work.

Yes, but you'll also want to verify that that wire can support that much current still. Where is it charred exactly?

Also my Putco has done that constantly lol. Sticky ****ty relays.

The charring is in the cavities of the headlight connection. There's evidence of it on the pins of the H4 as well. Which, btw, is cracked and has moisture in it.. For now, I disco'd the burnt light and am not using headlights.. Actually had a dream I was driving at night an couldn't turn my lights on.. I don't obsess over my jeep or anything, so that's good

Default Searching for downloadable owner's manual

After many attempts to locate a downloadable pdf version of an owner's manual for my 1995 Cherokee, I've only hit dead-ends and links which my anti-virus doesn't like...

So it will be highly appreciated if anyone can provide some guidance here, please.
