I've never seen a '91 without it, so it's a draw

I was wondering that myself about the YJs... been seeing a few really nice ones for sale lately... guess I'm YJ-curious.

The CAD requires the RENIX vacuum harness which didn't exist with 91 HO. Or the CAD had to be blocked off. Which did you see?

I pulled a 1991 t case out of a HO jeep that had the disco... There's vacuum harness coming out of the t case.

...or just run it off of the intake manifold. YJs don't have a Renix vacuum harness.

Always wondered about that. My 91 does not have it.

When accelerating from a full stop, I hear a quick whistling/squealing noise that simply goes away after a second. It seems to be coming from the rear, but I could be wrong. If I accelerate slowly enough, I don't hear anything.

I have shot shocks in the rear, so that was my first thought and I'm changing them soon enough, but I'm not hitting any bumps, so I'm looking for other possible ideas.

Also, my fan only works on high. I figured to resistor needs to be changed, but now it stopped working from time to time (trying to start it, won't work, try again right away and it works). Would the resistor cause this issue too or it's something else (switch, etc)?
Thanks!

Your resistor is definitely gone, so I would start with that and see if your other issue goes away

Just bought my first cherokee yesterday. I was driving it home and it just shut off almost like it was out of gas, But it was full. It is getting fuel and spark. The guy said its never happened to him before but idk if he is telling the truth. Please help. Btw I am no mechanic. So help is very much needed.

What year, engine, and transmission?
What does it do when you try to start it?

1995 cherokee sport, 4.0L inline 6 with automatic transmission. It sounds like it is about to crank but it just doesn't. And after we wait about 30-45 minutes it cranks up and runs for another 45 or so minutes
