I'm gonna make a thread in oem tech. I'll put up all the info there.
On my way home from work I lost all power from what I assume is through the ecu. I have radio and it will crank but that's it. No fuel, no spark, gauges dash lights ect.
Before i lost all that the rpm guage was bouncing with the blinkers and turning the blower motor on would kill the engine.
I'm thinking ecu

Gears when you go bigger, unless someone drops an already geared axle in your lap. 30s are right on the edge on enhanced higheay fuel economy on account of lower RPM at a given road speed.

However, about the only place you could easily put one is in the heater circuit, on the return loop so you don't lose all heat into the interior. Cutting into the radiator hoses and installing Tees isn't a very good idea.
You ARE talking about the coolant heater, right, not the magnetic one?

How do you know if a 95' Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo / 6cyl / 4.0 / 4x4
has a Class III or Class IV Towing Package?
There's no mention of it on the original window sticker.
If you don't tow anything with your Jeep, does it matter if 75w90 is used in the Rear Differential, or... ? My Jeep has a hitch, but I never towed anything with it & the window sticker says nothing about a towing package.
Anything else I should know or be concerned about?

As for what's currently on there the rating will be labelled on the hitch itself. Here's more information: http://www.reese-hitches.com/learnin...towing-classes
Probably... the transmission behind the 4.0L in Grand Cherokees is a notorious hunk of crap. Glad you aren't towing with it! You might want to ask the folks over in the Grand Cherokee section of the forum! https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f5/
As to whether it came equipped from the factory, you'd have to check the original factory build sheet. Chrsyler Customer Service has a function where you send them the VIN and they'll tell you the original build. It's not very likely that you had a Class IV hitch with a 4.0L. I have a 98 zj with the 44a rear axle, and after looking g at it tonight I noticed the rear in is ever so slightly angled towards the passenger side. This jeep has a 3.5" lift with skyjacker lca's. I'm thinking the issue is the rear track bar. However wouldn't that just pull the axle off center as opposed to the tires being angled towards the passenger side?
