Clean it before sandblasting. U don't want the grease or grime to clog up the lines or ruining the blasting media.
Sandblasting on the face is fine as long as u do it lightly.
What kind of blasting media u plan to use?

What do you man "blasting media" ? I just know its a Trinco Dry Blast

So this is my first posting on here. I went through some puddles with my 95 Cherokee Country the other day, and I blew a fuse. The instrument cluster, shifter, temp gague and running lights all went out. I replaced the 20amp fuse today, but I turned on my lights later on and the fuse blew. As soon as I replaced it, it blew again. I've looked on other forums, but they all give different answers. Some said trailer hitch wiring, short in the dash or radio, or water in headlights. Help!

Water or mud logged wiring. Frayed wiring. Stuff touching stuff that shouldn't be touching stuff.
The anatomy of a jeep is quite simple. These troubleshooting chores will help you better be one with your jeep. Some fixes are simple, some are Lying on your back in the street changing an alternator. Take a look around and you'll notice things out of place.
Also, when you replace the fuse, is it with your headlight switch on or off????

And the car is off as are the headlights. First time I replaced the fuse I disconnected the negative battery terminal. The lights work for a few minutes after I switch them on, then the fuse blows. I checked all the wiring around the air filter box, no luck.
I'll probably go under the car in the morning to see if some mud splashed up there. This may sound dumb, but if there was water anywhere, would it be possible for it to dry out overtime and well...fix itself?
