I'm not one of the chosen ones but I can tell how to temporarily mod your AC system so you can use any selection on the Mode Selector without engaging the AC Compressor.

Simply remove the electrical connector from the dual function high pressure switch on the discharge line from the compressor (not the low pressure switch on the Accumulator). Tape it up and secure it to one side. That's it.

Next spring when you need AC just plug that connector back in and you're ready for AC again.

Pretty long for any hack & tap I've seen. Probably just missing the boot (fail).

An HNT will have a bolt in the center of the yoke holding it onto the TC shaft.
