Would it just need a Cherokee harness and a 4.0?
He's seriously contemplating it. He has all access to a shop full of tools time and discounts on used engines.

Have to replace Brake Master Cylinder - 94 Jeep GC Laredo 5.2L engine. First time for me...
It seems easily accessible, I know to bench bleed it first, is there anything else I have to look out for? Thanks, Thomas

XJ Cherokee and ZJ Grand Cherokee 4.0L engine blocks interchange.
2000+ TJ Wrangler and WJ Grand Cherokee 4.0L engine blocks interchange.
XJ/ZJ blocks and 2000+ TJ/WJ blocks do not interchange without significant modifications. (1991 to 1995 YJ and 1997-1999 4.0L TJ Wrangler blocks will interchange in XJ/ZJ and visa-versa).
TJ/WJ 4.0L Engine blocks underwent clean sheet design changes effective in the 1999 WJ Grand and 2000 TJ Wrangler. These blocks are not interchangeable with XJ/ZJ engine blocks. The reason is motor mount bolt holes and belt driven accessory mounting bolt holes are in different locations, or not present at all, TJ/WJ vs. XJ/ZJ.

WJ: Grand Cherokee 99-04 (Gen2)
YJ: Wrangler 87-95 (Gen1)

No idea. I read engine swap threads with wide eyes lol. A good place to start is with a measuring tape, make sure the thing fits.
Anyone running airsoft BB's in their tires use the online chart but ended up needing more BB's? 285/75/16 calls for 8oz, I get a small shimmy around 45mph then its fine until 65mph. I see out the side mirror the wheel jumping around 65mph. 3 out of 4 tires called for over 1lb of weight on the machine so perhaps the tires will need more airsoft bb's.

98 Cherokee and my hatch won't shut. Tried kicking, hitting and pushing it and nothing worked. Took the hatch panel off and adjusted the linkage all the way both ways. Lubed everything which still didn't work. Now I've got the latch mechanism out and for some reason it seems like it's in the lock position and the little lever won't go in to grab the tab in the jeep. What do you guys think I need to do?

It's in the latched position.
Put it all back together, pull the handle, stick a screw driver in there and flip the latch back (While you're pulling the handle), shut the hatch.

White lithium grease is better for that, methinks.

If I were to make some UTK steering using 1-ton tre's on 2-2.5" of lift the only thing that would really change from an off the shelf kit would be the drag link length?

Anyone installed the cylinder head that o'rileys sells? I can get 25% off so I can get it for around $275.
Or I can have my 99's head resurfaced, new valve, springs, and guides for just about the same price.
Thoughts?

Yea. Just make your own, custom fit and very simple. Places like ballistic fab can get you what you need.
