They aren't labeled with little flags loan, it's just colored wires, I've got my answer now though, if it was my xj I'd experiment more, but since it's not, I want to do it right, red and white it is!

I didn't say there was. You need to be using a voltmeter or at least a test light to be doing this.

Don't forget, once the blue smoke escapes there's no way to put it back in.

Anybody got any idea what could vibrate in the exhaust when I rev the engine? Sum ***** has been making noise ever since I backed into a Honda. Can't figure out where it's coming from.

Crawl under your jeep and look at the exhaust. You most likely bend something. Its probably just the exhaust pipe hitting the leaf spring

I've already crawled under and looked thoroughly. Only thing that was hit on my end was the trailer hitch.

Did you look along the entire exhaust? Something may be loose, is the sound coming from the front or rear?

I've checked from tip to manifold. It's coming from the rear, you can hear it inside the cab while you're driving.

See this happened to me and I just cut the tailpipe down so it wouldn't hit the leaf spring. Are you sure its the exhaust

I'm not sure of anything. But I'll probably go take another look at it tomorrow.
