Anyone have the Zone lifts? Im lookin at the 3" one to run 33s with and im curious of what people that have it think of it. Most reviews are positive other than an issue with shocks on the 4.5".

I started with a 3" zone kit. Very good quality. There is a vendor on here who can get you a discount. I think his screen name is aor or something.

lol if you want IFS, just sell the XJ and get a new Jeep. Some models have IS on the front and back.

Closed minded people **** talking IFS. Look at the prerunners and baja/dune racers. That technology has its place. Not everyone here is on rocks or mud.

KJs have some sort of IFS, don't they? I think it was dine for ride quality though, unlike the HMMWV where clearance was the motivator.

People say that about a lot of things until someone does it anyway and gets universally positive feedback.

Example:

^Framed XJ. Probably my favorite build.

I didnt plan on doing it or anything, if someone took the time to make one it would be a good read. I agree that IFS has its place. I like IFS for fast desert driving. My jeep feels like it has square wheels when im doing 40+mph in the desert. Thats why i questioned it. I want both worlds, not just be closed minded to a jeep.
