Like Desert said there's nothing to weld TO, and attempted use of the stock bumper in that way will get someone hurt.

Some companies like JCR ship non-assembled bumpers that you can weld up yourself. $200 and free shipping for all the metal for a proper front bumper today: http://www.jcroffroad.com/

Order NTK from Rock Auto. $35 for an upstream. NTK is the OEM for Mopar XJs and the best performers in our Jeeps.

The way I see it, if NTK was in there from the factory, those lasted 200k miles, why not spend a little more and get that longevity again?

I put Aussie lockers front and rear about 1,000 miles ago. 99 4.0 d30 and 8.25 diffs. Checked the diff fluid today. Level fine but both fluids were gray. Not tan not milky, just gray. I have not been in any water so what will cause gray colored fluid?

I've never seen any non-gray gear oil except when it's in a bottle.

Just like headlights, its good to change these in pairs. Would you change just one spark plug if its 100k+ miles old. Replace one and the next one goes before you know it.

Hey salad you know what I didn't realize about my zj taking awhile to warm up?

I just put 15-40 rotella in it at the end of the summer lol.

Had the sudden realization while sitting at work.
