no lol.. I just decided I wanted to see how deep this puddle was in the ditch and figured id whip it in 4wd just to be safe. At first go around when It was just hanging in 2wd I could take the tip of my finger and touch the lever and it would pop back to 4hi. Then with speed I gave it a good push and it felt like it was actually staying in 2wd.

Yes, the front shaft will always spin the same speed as the rear no matter what t-case you have.
Assuming the front and rear gears match and all 4 wheels are on the ground.

Ok..I had climbed out and tapped the gas while looking under it and noticed the front shaft spun with me tapping the gas just like the rear did. For some reason I had thought the front shaft just spun freely

Unless u have unlockable/lockable hubs on your axles , your drive shaft will turn no matter what ! It's unlocks in the transfercase

This is my first jeep with the 242.. Not used to it
Last 2 xjs had 231s. I bet when the PO did the 4x4 swap he didnt adjust the linkage exactly right.

Replace leafs or dont worry about it ... yet
It seems that my back end is sagging.
- 16" from center to flare.
- It should be 17.5" if I read the threads correctly.
- SHocks are good
Should I replace the leafs at this point or am I going through a lot of trouble for not a lot of benefit?
It seems to ride fine or I have just gotten used to a crummy ride.
