Anyone know why my factory fog lights don't turn off when I flip the switch? They only turn on and off when I turn my headlights on and off...

Has to do with how they're wired... Anything not factory?

There's a black, green/black, and a green wire going to the back of the switch, I figure the green/ black is the switched hot wire right? Black ground and green constant hot? I wired up new fogs and used the factory plugs. Or would the ground be the switched wire:? And green hot for the light on the switch and green/black hot for the fogs? Idk...

For anyone trying to help, I think he has an '89. I don't know the colors offhand, and I can't look at my wiring diagrams right now.

The po put a hole there to mount some CD changer thing. I ripped it out because it was broken. I didn't have a piece of metal like I though I did so I put that there for now lol. Works great.

Dirtbound Offroad makes a 6-switch panel with room for a 2" gauge for pre-97s. It replaces the ashtray. I like mine, but installation isn't terribly straightforward. You can see it in my build thread.
