If you don't need 4.5", consider a 3" lift. You will probably want to go taller later, but you can run the same size tires (~33") if you trim the fenders. At 3" you can save money on brake lines, and the SYE becomes a "maybe."

Alternatively, try piecing parts together from Craigslist. I lifted my Cherokee 3" with quality components for under $1k including wheels and tires. I pieced my lift together over a 6 month span, and it saved me a lot of money.

How much? I mena i no where near ready to buy new tires. first i gotta find a another jeep. Last one went ot auction so i can afford bill payments. Cant wait for tax returns. then im lookin toward either aanother XJ, a MJ, or a CJ5. this time in much better condition....

Ya I need to get the track bar soon and an alignment. I was looking at my tread on my treadwrights and I'm at like 95% rear and 50% front. I'm kinda mad but will get an alignment and rotate them then once I get a job this summer I will get some duratracs or something. But the tires themselves are great and the customer service of treadwright is too notch. They sent me 4 stickers, a booklet, and a coffee mug. It came a few weeks after my tires so idk if it had something to do with me emailing them about how great their customer service is.

Do they keep those in stock more often? Seems all the 35s in a 15" wheel are always sold out/not available.

I guess 16" steelies aren't that pricey.

But 35x11? I think that might look a little skinny. I always thought 35x12.5 was a perfect looking ratio.
