All three bulbs work both sides. It's blinking so fast my two front ones are blinking simultaneously instead of one at a time

They always flash like that when the headlights are on, on pre-97's at least. So yeah it could be the relay.

You're correct. Head lights on they flash separately headlights off they flash together. This is on a 98 classic too.

So you're saying the relay too but where is the relay? I tried looking at wiring diagrams I have at work and it said nothing about blinkers/indicators anywhere.

Anyways question time. What is the easiest way to get the horn on a pre97? I'm thinking of putting a dual tone air horn on it.

Default Cherokee Wont start

Hey new to the site and just bought my first 2001 Cherokee sport pretty pumped I must say. But anyway recently my jeep has not wanted to start for me. When i turn it over the first time it seems to lose power for everything and won't even start, but then after trying to start it and then leave it for about 3-5 mins I go to start it and it will turn over no problem. Any ideas to what might be wrong?

(I was told by some one i know that it could be my starter or bad wires to the starter or bad battery terminals) But I'd rather get more answers then just one before I try anything.

thanks

clean up your terminals, and have your battery checked.
if everything checks OK with the battery then go to your starter, clean the connections and leads. if you wanna go crazy pull your starter and have it tested....my $.02

Keep in mind the ground for the starter is the contact patch with the body. Ensure both surfaces are clean and dry.

IIRC, Liquid Iron Industries is the popular choice in these parts. I know dukie likes his brackets. Check out his build thread to verify brand.
