You can do it at home, just depose of coolant properly or dont tell the EPA..You can do with your garden hose, just make sure to get most of if not all of the hard water out of the system.

Some cars require you to lock doors, unlock doors with key, and start the vehicle to deactivate the security alarm. Not sure if XJs work like that.

i found this - maybe it'll work?

To reset the system, disconnect the negative ground.
Leave it disconnected at least 5 minutes.
Reconnect the battery.
Shut and lock all doors to include hood and rear hatch.
The security light will come on and go off when the system has reset.
Open the drivers door with the key.
The alarm/ horn will sound.
You should be able to start the vehicle.
This is only for factory security systems.
The security system (SS) relearns after the battery has been disconnected

Help ne out guys,
So my brakes were bad and you had to press really hard to stop. Well I checked the fluid and it was TERRIBLE so I flushed the lines and changed the fluid. I did it all the right way and my brakes are just as bad if not a little worse. You have to almost slam to come to a slow stop. It's so dangerous I can't drive, what's wrong??

Needs to be an MJ axle, or you'll have to move spring perches and shock mounts. MJ and XJ axles are the same width, but you will have to make those changes if you get an XJ axle. Either way, ensure the gear ratios match, and you might need a different driveshaft.
