What the hell is this?! It has a red and black tube attached and is on the passenger side. I broke the black tube but it started up and ran fine... Thanks for the help! WTF-image-4286717442.jpg

Holds a vacuum.. helps with HVAC and cruise control as well as CAD. If you were to remove it you would only notice a difference when you were at WOT or close to it, AFAIK

Your ac will only blow out of vents if vacuum lines to the storage ***** not connected ?

It used to be installed behind the passenger side front bumper. Someone relocated it.

My cruise control didnt work when I accidently nicked a tube relocating it. So expect the first drvie after not to have cruise, but its no big deal. Vacuum line is like a few bucks or eletrical tape works well too.

Yes it is the vacuum reservoir. Without it at all you will lose cruise and the HVAC will blow on defrost under acceleration. If the system leaks (cracked or unplugged line) it will always be like that.
