Default Window stuck down

Rolled down my window today and heard a growl in the door. Now the window is stuck down and the switch causes the the motor/regulator to make a clicking noise in both directions. Do I need a new regulator?

The only way to know for sure if you do or don't need a new regulator is by pulling the door panel and check it out. With a little luck it something minor that came unconnected.

Hold the switch in the up position and slam the door a few times. Sometimes you will get lucky and the window will roll up. If this is the case you need a window motor. If not, you will need to pull the door panel to investigate.

No luck with slamming. Took off the panel and located the clicking source, its the black module that is just left of the speaker on driver side on bottom.

Is the 'black module' connected to the regulator assembly? If so, i'd say yes, you need a new regulator.

Any update on this?

Literally in the exact same situation as you as I type this. I have my panel off but I don't exactly know what I'm looking for. I can hear the motor trying to work but it's just not pulling the window up.

Bad regulator?

Most likely the notorious little under-designed plastic bracket that holds the cable has broken. Common issue. Search for window regulator fix or something similar, there are write ups on. Re-did mine three times, before i had enough and bought new regulaotr assembly via Amazon.
If you do need a new one, don't go dealer: $$$+

Yep I found that be my problem the second I pulled the assembly out.
