its always the things you dont consider first. Got a new battery and started easier then it has it a while. The battery was about 5 and half years old. Going to put on new fuel injectors next.

The later models are quite sensitive to that stuff.

Engine: 4.0, new lifters valve job with new springs and exhaust valves, preload set with shims

Advance auto will test the whole starting charging and battery system for free with their little microprocessor, lcd screen graph printout machine. Takes 5 mins well worth it.

d othey have one of those small hand held deals? They're nice. way better than old school.

That said, any battery 5 years old is in need of replacing .

Yeah, I just took my battery in to Advance they put it on their handheld machine and it was to weak for them to even get a reading.

i didnt even realize that it was that old until I pulled it out. I had lost my maintenance journal during my move.
