Exclamation leaky injectors.. help..

so i finally got a new pump and tank for my xj. i got it all in and it works great. the bad part is, is now that i actually have the correct fuel pressure my injectors leak.. thinking it was just the o rings i went ahead and swapped in some new ones.

after changing the o rings, for the second time since ive had it, and a few of them still leak. i also broke the connector that clips into the regulator, is that a stealership part?

why do my injectors still leak..?
should i just replace all 6 of injectors.

its a 90 4.0.
thanks for any help.

Are you sure you have the correct pressure and not too much? All the injectors are seated properly and the rail looks to be okay?

yes and yes everything looks fine. im thinking the body's of the injectors are cracked or worn. i think ill just replace all them..

i think that connector is just an oil/fuel connector and i can get a repair kit for it.
this look right?

Yup, thats the right connector, upgrade to 703s from a neon, they work great, and are a direct plug and play, I love mine.

If your injectors are like mine were, it was leaking where the plastic body met the metal "cap". No o-ring in the world will fix that. I've got pictures of mine here, as well as how I upgraded (RENIX, like yours).

thanks for all the info guys.
i bought a used rail and 6 injectors a while back, the kid before me but some kind of silicone all over the regulator before me so i just swapped in a nice used rail and regulator. i used the injectors which were in the existing rail so i still have 6 from the rail which i bought. i'm gonna get that connector that i broke and test and see which of the injectors are okay and go from there. if all else fails, it looks like ill be going with some 703's.
thanks again everybody.
