Default Help Locate Where Part Goes

I just finishing redoing my XJ rebuild, and I have these three pieces in the picture and I am not too sure what they came from. Can anybody help a brother out?

That was my first thought. The parts guide shows the reinforcement plate to be a single, circular piece. Doesn't mean some PO didn't swap it.

I've seen parts like this on top of shock towers but the XJ doesn't have that type of front suspension.

FWD cars also use them on the drive shafts. Again, not on the XJ.

So, OP, are you sure it came off your XJ? What exactly did you do in your rebuild?

How long are the pieces? That might help narrow it down.

On other vehicles, I’ve seen pieces like that go on corners of an oil pan. Never had an XJ pulled apart that far.

I redid the entire drive line and suspension but did not touch anything on the engine or transmission other than the exterior.
