Please clarify, You do have the two piece RF axle with the Vacuum Disco? It's late and I ain't reading back through. People shared good info while I was at that here> https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/dan...-disco-172988/
If you use some stupid thing that doesn't let you see links, That's a thing we might want to know. ( IE, if you are on something "smart" you may not have assess to the info). It's just we go to adjust for, the "smart" interface.

Well cool! Doing the seal in the disco really sucks. As far as the seal stuck in the diff....I think you can bash it out with a long pipe/bar from the outside. Do work it top/bottom, left right but I'm sure there is a lip you can hit with something.

Well here is the seal I pried out today with a pry bar.
I saw from Dflintstones axle post, that the carquest part #710069 is the same as the one I pulled out of my differential.

Not filling out your info and making someone who is already donating there time need to search just to fine out what we are talking about is a bit of a peeve. Also it seems Ether links are not displayed, or there is some issue with opening them. (than the poster won't tell you his smart thing is stupid, you need to figure it out by what they don't know.)
I about always keep my hands clean. Grease is better on a rag then on the tools and everywhere else!
Yea, the one on the left looks like the one that would have gone into a Disco.

New seal is installed! Hubs, calipers and wheels bolted back on, got some RTV on the cover and it is sitting overnight before I put gear oil in and drive it tomorrow morning. It was quite a project!
