Default A/C blowing through defroster vents only.

So my 97 Cherokee country, the Ac started blowing out only the defroster vents the other day, both the cold and heat work, as well as it blows out on all 4 fans speed settings. So I took it to tire kingdom, they hooked it up to their Ac machine, told me I had a broken Hose, replaced it but problem stayed. So now I'm out 119$ and still no fix, please help.

The vent flaps are vacuum-controlled. I'd look for a problem with the control switch, vacuum lines, or actuators.

I just found a vacuum leak that controlled my vent flaps. There is a harness in the back firewall that has three hard lines in it. the bottom one was cracked, so I put a touch of glue on it and wrapped it in electrical tape. exactly as it is in the the diagram. Works perfectly... just hope it lasts
