Hose attaches to what?

Hose attaches to what?
Can someone please tell me where the other end of this hose goes?? My blower is only putting air thru the defrost vents. I assume this might be why? I'm lost and can't figure out where it attaches.

Engine: 4.0 with all of the noise and clatter
Look around where the A/C lines connect to the firewall, there should be a small vacuum hose coming from the firewall.
