Hey guys need help bad. I have 97 Jeep Cherokee ladero 6 banger thats only a 5 banger and need help as to why this is.

Here is what i have done so far.
Got new computer and been flashed by jeep dealership.
Checked spark on he 4th cynlinder....good.
checked for firing ....compression is at 150psi on all cyc.
switched injector and they all work.....isolated down to 4th.
ran a wire straight from 16th pin directly to injector to eliminate harness and sill no dice.
The injector voltage shows out to 13.7 volts
wire continuity showed good...and same with direct wire and harness.

bottom line injector 4 still isn't working and I really need it too.

Is that injector stuck closed?

 

With the engine running can you hear/feel #4 injector clicking?

 

Good point Ken.

 

Measure the resistance of what is/was #4 injector pin to pin. It should be around 12 Ohms. A very low resistance can smoke the PCM driver.
