Default Wrecked my jeep cherokee

I was driving to work today and the rear passenger tire blew out. I had my seatbelt on and they say I was ejected out of it. I got hit in the head by something the first time it rolled over I have a 4 cm by 2 cut in my head and a bruised shoulder and sore ribs. I am hoping to get my jeep back so I can strip it down and get another chassis from a wreckers yard and rebuild it.

Iam more upset my jeep is wrecked than i am about my injurys

I was the same way when I totalled my mustang. Took a concrete barrier head-on at 60+mph. Got a split sternum, several broken ribs, 2 busted wrists, plenty of cuts and bruises. First thought when I saw the wall coming?

"I'm not gonna be able to fix what's about to happen to my car."

😭

I feel Ya. Glad you're OK, but that really sucks about your jeep.

Not making light of the situation, you are very lucky, but that tag frame is hilarious.

Glad you're OK - that looks like no fun at all
The lack of rollover protection in the XJ is starting to scare me a bit!

No worse that any other of that age and speed would have done others would have been much worse I bet in a lot of cases.

Thank you guys I have been to the wreckers today to get my stuff and at the end of the month I'll get her back iam going to strip her and salvage what I can. Here are some photos from the wreckers. The only place the roof didn't come down and in to the passenger compartment was where I was sitting.

From what I was told and what I vaguely remember is this I hit the bar
ditch and she rolled and I hit my head on something and blacked out when I could see again I undid my seatbelt and opened the door and rolled out on to the ground she then bounced over me and she came to a rest and I was quite a way from the jeep. Witnesses said they saw me drop out and she went over me and didn't touch me. Iam a volunteer fire fighter and drive on our county ems I have never seen anyone survive getting ejected or leave a vehicle and live to tell the tale.

Iam stood at the last tire mark and my wife is stood where my jeep stopped at.

Looks nasty, glad you're ok. How old are the tires? Tires more than 5-6 years old are known to do that as the rubber gets hard/cracked with age and adhesives fail.
